Founder & Head Instructor

Hanshi Tony White

Hanshi White is an 9th-degree (Hachidan) black belt and Grandmaster Instructor with more than 40 years in martial arts. He was inducted into the USA Heroes Martial Arts Hall of Fame, and his competitive record includes multiple Grand Champion titles — among them the Kuo Bushi Martial Arts World Championships in 2014 — along with appearances at the USSA Martial Arts Hall of Fame and the USA Open Olympic Games.

Over the past two decades he has been a standout in the USA National Karate & Kung-Fu Union, named Dojo Southeastern Competitor of the Year and earning honors as a Master Black Belt and adult fighting champion, including the Executive Men Black Belt Sparring Grand Champion title. A Sports Karate Living Legends inductee, he competes in full-contact PKL fighting and is an accomplished point fighter, while teaching the traditional disciplines of Kata and Kobudo.

Before bringing his work to South Carolina, Hanshi White operated Waxhaw Universal Karate Studio in Waxhaw, North Carolina for more than 20 years. Today he channels that experience into Richburg Karate & Fitness Center and the Knock Out Drop Outs program, where the goal is no longer trophies — it is changed lives.

Our Mission

Enhancing the quality of life for kids, youth, and young adults.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple goal: to help young people build good character, healthy family values, structure, self-esteem, and leadership — and to become positive role models in their own right.

Through the Knock Out Drop Outs program, that mission takes shape on the mat every week. The program is built on a model proven in Union County, North Carolina under a 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant, where students showed measurable gains in behavior, attitude, grades, and attendance. We are proud to bring that same approach to Chester County and the surrounding area.
